This initiative aims to introduce children to stories and teachings from Indian culture through high-quality animated storytelling. The long-term vision is to build a growing library of culturally rooted stories that children can grow up with. The Āṇḍāl Animation Series is the first offering under this umbrella.
No. This is not a religious instruction program. The stories draw from Indian cultural and devotional traditions, but are presented through a child’s emotional and imaginative lens, focusing on universal themes.
Āṇḍāl was a child-poet whose expressions of devotion were honest, innocent, and emotionally rich, making her story naturally suited for children.
The project is a collaboration between Madhu Iyer, who leads concept, narrative vision, and music, and Puppetica Media, led by Ravishankar Venkateswaran, who handle animation and production.
Each episode is approximately 5–6 minutes long, designed to suit young attention spans while allowing emotional depth.
